Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Scope

This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to all services booked through Horizon Aircare doing business as Horizon Aircare, including services booked through quote forms or phone calls that originated from Google Ads, Meta Ads (Facebook and Instagram), or any other paid or organic channel.

2. Quote requests

Submitting a quote request is free and creates no obligation to buy. You can withdraw your quote request at any time by phone, email, or by replying STOP to any text from us.

3. Appointment cancellation by customer

  • More than 24 hours before scheduled arrival: free cancellation or reschedule.
  • Less than 24 hours before scheduled arrival: a rescheduling fee of $49 may apply.
  • Same-day no-show or denied access on arrival: a trip fee of $79 may apply.

4. Appointment cancellation by Horizon Aircare

We may reschedule your appointment due to weather, staffing, vehicle issues, or safety conditions. We will give you as much notice as possible and will not charge you a fee when we reschedule.

5. Right to inspect before payment

Before payment, you have the right to inspect the completed work on-site and confirm it matches the agreed scope. Payment is due only after you inspect and accept the work.

6. Refund policy after payment

Services are sold and accepted AS IS. Once you inspect and accept the completed work on-site, all sales are final and no refunds will be issued, except as required by applicable law (see Section 7 below for the Florida 3-day cancellation right).

No warranty applies unless Horizon Aircare has issued a specific written warranty for the specific job. If, and only if, a specific written warranty was issued for the job and a qualifying issue is reported within that written warranty’s stated period, your sole and exclusive remedy is re-performance of the affected work; no monetary refund will be issued.

Materials. Refunds for materials installed by us — including insulation, chimney caps, and dryer vent guards — are governed solely by the manufacturer’s policies. Uninstalled and unused materials in original condition may be returnable subject to a restocking fee at our discretion.

Special-order or custom items are non-refundable once ordered.

Deposits, if collected for any job, are non-refundable once work is scheduled, except where the cancellation is initiated by Horizon Aircare.

7. Florida Home Solicitation Sales — 3-day right to cancel

For any sale of goods or services over $25 that is made at your residence or at any place other than Horizon Aircare’s regular place of business — including any additional work sold on-site at an estimate or service appointment — you have the right to cancel that transaction without penalty or obligation within three (3) business days after the date of the transaction, in accordance with the Florida Home Solicitation Sales Act, Fla. Stat. § 501.021–501.055.

To exercise this right, send a written notice of cancellation by mail or email to Horizon Aircare at the contact information below, postmarked or sent no later than midnight of the third business day after the date of the transaction. We will provide a written “Notice of Cancellation” form at the time of any qualifying sale.

This 3-day right does not apply to services that you have specifically requested be performed immediately and that have already been fully performed before the cancellation period expires, to the extent permitted by Florida law.

8. Chargebacks

If you have a dispute about a charge, you agree to contact us first and complete the informal dispute process described in our Terms of Service before initiating a chargeback with your card issuer or bank. Chargebacks filed without first contacting us, or chargebacks we determine to be fraudulent, may be referred for collection and may result in additional fees as permitted by law.

10. Compliance note for paid ads

This Refund & Cancellation Policy is the binding refund and cancellation policy referenced on any Horizon Aircare landing page, ad creative, or ad disclosure delivered through Google Ads, Meta Ads, or other paid advertising channels. It is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service.
